Steel and other metals are handled at several ABP ports. The Group includes a number of dedicated facilities, including steel terminals at Goole, Newport and Hull, where the UK’s first fully-enclosed steel terminal was established, enabling weather-sensitive steel cargoes to be handled entirely under cover.
