The Port of Barrow, located in south-west Cumbria, is well placed to serve shipping routes to Ireland, mainland Europe, the north Atlantic and beyond.

The port has considerable experience in handling specialist cargoes and a range of bulk aggregates. It is also an ideal base for offshore and renewable-energy projects located in the Irish Sea. In addition, Barrow is used as a port of call for 'round-Britain' cruises.
