Dry bulks

The Port of Barry can handle a range of dry bulks and has two quayside transit sheds totalling 7,500 sq m located on No. 2 Dock. Bulk operations include the handling of grain, cement, coal and aggregates.

Facilities include:

  • B Shed, a dedicated grain-handling facility, providing 3,500 sq m of covered storage.
  • 31 Berth, dedicated to cement and cement clinker.

  • Processing operations such as concrete batching plants, a flourmill and a bagging operation.
