Fresh produce and perishables

No. 3 Dock Basin provides a purpose-built fruit and general cargo terminal with quayside transit shed space of 4,560 sq m and two temperature-controlled stores of 1,890 sq m. The port’s Windward Terminal is operated by Cardiff Stevedoring and Cargo Handling Co. Ltd.

Facilities at No.3 Dock Basin include:

  • An additional hardstanding open storage area with external reefer points for refrigerated road trailers.

  • Vehicle-loading bays for discharging direct transport.

  • Extensive, modern facilities and weighbridge, all within a high-security compound.
