Liquid bulks

Barry has considerable expertise in the handling of liquid bulk traffic, and the majority of throughput services the local chemicals industry. Major customers located on the port estate include Dow Corning, Dow Chemicals, Bordon Chemicals, Zeon Chemicals and European Vinyls Corporation (UK) Ltd. Methanol, Linears and VCM are among the products handled.

Storage facilities for liquid bulks are offered by Vopak. Vopak has also invested in a tank farm development on the port’s Windmill site, primarily to service Dow Corning. Further development of liquid bulk facilities on No. 2 Dock is planned by ABP and Vopak.
