Containers

The Boothferry Terminal, operated by RMS Europe Ltd, is on of a 6.5-ha site with two rail-mounted container gantry cranes, two rubber-tyred gantry cranes, a fleet of reachstackers, a 3,850  sq m warehouse, 25,000 sq m of quayside open storage and a similar area of open back storage for the handling of containers. Further extensive covered storage is available at the terminal for other commodities.

The Aldam Terminal is equipped with two harbour mobile cranes, a fleet of forklift trucks and three storage sheds. The terminal is a base for TransAtlantic (UK) Ltd, which runs a regular service to and from the Swedish ports of Västerås, Norrköping, Oxelösund, Helsingborg and Södertälje.
