Newport is ideally placed to service the requirements of the automotive industry. In association with AMPORTS UK, the port offers competitive rates for the import, export and storage of vehicles in high-quality, secure compounds.

The port�s facilities include:

18 ha of secure car terminal facilities, of which 6 ha has tarmac surfacing with 3 m palisade fencing.
The remaining 12 ha is surfaced with rolled stone and shale and has chain link fencing.
The ability to accommodate side and three-quarter ramp working of vessels.
Customs warehousing on site with the option of deferment of duty.
A 7 ha plot of land adjacent to the terminals with capacity for up to 4,000 units is available for further expansion.
Rail access close to the site offering potential haulage savings and a choice of transport mode.
