Dry bulks

A variety of dry bulk cargoes have been handled at the port in recent years, including grains, fertilisers, stone, sand, coal and cement powder.
Specially selected high quality wheat is discharged for Carrs Flour Mill Ltd, located on the north side of New Dock.

A wide variety of fertiliser-compounds are regularly discharged at Silloth, for the agricultural requirements of the north of England and the Borders region.

In addition to covered storage accommodation adjacent to New Dock quays, there are extensive warehousing and storage facilities available nearby.

3 ha of open storage is available within the dock estate.
