Specialised Facilities
Silloth has purpose-built lairage facilities at New Dock, providing opportunities for the handling of livestock. There are two lairages, which, together, cover an area of 2,100 sq m. These facilities can be readily adapted for alternative uses.

Storage & Warehousing
The port offers around 1,800 sq m of covered warehousing and 3 ha of open storage. A further 75,000 sq m of covered warehousing is available near the port estate.

Cranage & Mechanical Handling Equipment
Mobile cranes and other cargo-handling plant are available. The port�s licensed stevedoring company, DA Harrison, has recently invested in a state-of-the-art Sumitomo grab crane.
